Performance
You can
enjoy a commanding driving experience all over nearby Wake Forester thanks to a
standard 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine in every Ascent model. It
produces 260-horsepower and 277 pounds-feet of torque, pairing the engine with
a continuously variable automatic transmission to help keep your ride smooth
and friendly on fuel, while also integrating paddle shifters for greater
control when you want it. All models have Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive,
providing you with the utmost traction and control, while also giving you
greater freedom on your adventures off the beaten path. When properly equipped,
you can tow up to 5,000 pounds in a new Ascent model.
Design
Exterior
The Subaru
Ascent is the largest Subaru vehicle ever built. It still maintains the rugged
Subaru build, with 8.7-inches of ground clearance, body cladding around the
wheels, raised roof rails, and LED steering responsive headlights on every model.
Interior
The inside
of every new Subaru Ascent model is designed to fit your family, friends, and
everything they bring with them comfortably. There's standard seating for eight
passengers with a second row bench seat, or seating for seven with second row
captain's chairs. Behind the third row of seating, you can utilize 17.8 cubic
feet of cargo space. Fold down the second and third row and you can take
advantage of 86.5 cubic feet of maximum cargo space. Cloth upholstery comes
standard, but leather upholstery is also available on higher trim levels.
There's also USB ports available throughout all three-rows and plenty of cup
holders.
Technology
and Safety Features
Every new
Subaru Ascent model comes with a Starlink multimedia system on either a
6.5-inch or available 8-inch touchscreen display. All models have Apple CarPlay
and Android Auto compatibility, allowing you to connect and control your
smartphone while you're on the go around Knightdale.
To help you
enjoy complete peace of mind as you drive, all Ascent models come with an
Eyesight Driver Assist Technology system, featuring pre-collision braking, lane
keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and more. If you choose a higher trim level,
you can also enjoy blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a
180-degree front-view monitor, and other features.
