The Subaru Outback makes two engines available across its entire trim lineup, The base engine that comes standard with the Outback is a 2.5-liter flat-4 that makes 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. This engine features all-wheel drive and offers up a continuously variable transmission. More power can be had by stepping to the optional 2.4-liter turbocharged flat-4 engine that makes 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. The Wilderness trim offers up increased performance capabilities. The Wilderness offers Raleigh comes with an all-wheel drive system with low-ratio settings, a lifted suspension, a front skid plate, and all-terrain tires.
Technology
Technology features are quite extensive, with even the base trim coming with an impressive set of offerings. The Base trim comes standard with dual 7-inch touchscreen infotainment displays, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, and a basic audio system. The Premium trim improves tech features by replacing an 11.6-inch touchscreen infotainment display. The Limited trim gains a Harman Kardon premium audio system while making a navigation system optional.
